Population Outcome: People living in Suffolk and North East Essex Live Well are Protected from Preventable Diseases
There are a number of ways that we can help protect our health from risks of illness such as infectious diseases, and identify early signs of ill health so we can take action to prevent it from causing more harm. These include vaccination and immunisations, population screening programmes such as breast or cervical screening, and controlling outbreaks of infectious diseases.
