How will things be different in Suffolk and North East Essex

We will co-produce campaigns to raise awareness of preventing hearing loss, the signs of hearing impairments, the ways to access hearing tests, and the support available for all age groups, people with disabilities and long term conditions, and diverse communities.We will promote sharing of records between community providers and secondary care.
We will ensure children and adults eligible for free hearing tests and free or low cost equipment, care and support are aware of their rights.We will promote sharing of records between community providers and secondary care – ear health specialists and other specialisms relevant to the patient.
We will enable people have access to low cost, local ear waxing services.We will support people to maintain their health and wellbeing before, while waiting for, during and after treatment to help them stay well and recover well.
We will encourage the use of hearing loops in public buildings.
