How will things be different in Suffolk and North East Essex

We will co-produce campaigns to raise awareness of the importance of regular eye tests, healthy living and the signs of eye conditions for all age groups, people with disabilities and long term conditions, and diverse communities.We will promote sharing of records between community providers and secondary care.
We will ensure children and adults eligible for free eye tests and free or low cost equipment, care and support are aware of their rights.We will promote sharing of records between community providers and secondary care – eyecare specialists and other specialisms relevant to the patient.
We will ensure all Looked After Children have access to regular eye checks.We will support people to maintain their health and wellbeing before, while waiting for, during and after treatment to help them stay well and recover well.
